Let's continue talking about gadgets
Canon A2100This is the camera I'd like to get should I decide to get a new camera. The current camera I have, an Ixus 800IS, is wonderful. I think I tend to get (emotionally?) attached to my gadgets and as long as they work fine I'm not inclined to get another. How would my old gadget feel?!! So, if my Ixus 800IS should act up one day, or break apart, I'd like to get this. Notice, it's NOT an Ixus! I love Ixus. I've owned 3 so far, and 1 Panasonic. Never again will I deviate from a Canon. I'm brand-loyal too. This camera isn't as sleek as the Ixus range, but it produces better pictures, from samples I've seen. This is a prime indication of adulthood! Function over form...
Nokia N86I checked out the Singtel shop at Parkway last weekend, and saw this phone. Well I didn't really see it, I had to ask the seemingly unwilling girl to bring me a piece. Why are they like that? Does it have to do with my face? I look like I'm not about to buy, is it? It's true perhaps, Ms Salesgirl, I think you're dumb and can't answer my questions and if I had any I wouldn't ask you*. ANYWAY, I held the plastic phone and I was forced to imagine what the real phone would be liked. So I imagined. And I imagined I'd like the real phone. I went home to google and also saw that the Nokia N97 was being promoted more aggressively. But I like the N97 less coz it has that keyboard and I'm the T9 sort and I am not about to change that.
*I've thought about it, ever since I went from shop to shop in Funan & Sim Lim in search of a computer to buy, that salespeople don't really know what's really going on. They know the product's key features and functions, and price, and what discount they can give you. I would know alot more if I asked my friend, google.
